Brevard outscored Polk County 14-2 in the second quarter to pull away for a 41-12 victory in Wednesday’s non-conference junior varsity boys basketball game in Brevard.
The Blue Devils (7-5) led 25-8 at halftime and maintained control throughout the second half.
Brennan Oates led Polk County (3-12) with six points. RJ Simpson, Tallis Metcalf and Jackson Blotner each added two.

Polk County is scheduled to travel to Mitchell on Friday for a Western Highlands Conference game.
