Three Polk County sophomores and one senior have been named to the all-Western Highlands Conference softball team.
Wolverines Haley Fowler, Maranda Gosnell and Autumn Owen joined senior Hayley Kropp on the all-conference team. The foursome led Polk County’s offense this season, with Owen finishing around the .500 mark in batting average and Kropp setting a single-season school record for home runs.
Madison sophomore Hannah Jennings was named the conference player of the year, with Patriots head coach Andy Gregg named the coach of the year after leading Madison to a 22-2 record.
