Polk County earned its first volleyball win of the season – and the first career victory for head coach Molly Corhn – with a five-set triumph Thursday night at Enka.
The Wolverines captured an 11-25, 25-15, 26-24, 21-25, 15-8 non-conference win over the Jets, improving to 1-2 after the first week of regular-season play.
“It feels awesome,” Corhn said of her first win. “The girls played so great., I’m just really proud of this team and everything they’ve fought through this week.
