In her first season with the program, Hill led the Wolverines to a 19-6 record and a share of the WHC regular-season championship, handing eventual state champion Hendersonville one of its two losses this season to earn a split of the conference title. Polk County advanced to the third round of the state 2A playoffs before falling to Wheatmore.
Overholt played a key role in the Wolverines’ success, guiding the Polk County attack and serving a key leadership role as one of only two seniors on the squad. She recorded 816 assists, with that total ranking 10th-best in the state according to MaxPreps.
Overholt handled 1,571 balls during the season with just 17 errors. She finished fourth on the team in digs, second in blocks, led the team in aces with 64 and was also third on the team in kills with 126.
