Vorbe leads Polk JV sweep of R-S Central

Polk County’s junior varsity volleyball team rolled to a straight-set victory Thursday at R-S Central, taking a 25-18, 25-21 win.

Alia Vorbe led the Wolverines with 12 kills and 19 digs while also recording seven assists. Breelyn Morrison added seven kills, with Camdyn Israel-Garrett finishing with three kills, 14 digs and seven assists.

Lily Holt had 16 digs and three assists for Polk County. ScottLynn Whiteside added two kills, seven digs and two aces, while Emily Dotson also served two aces.

The victory improved Polk County to 2-0. The Wolverines are scheduled to return home Tuesday to face West Henderson.
