Polk County kicked off a challenging week with a tough four-set loss Monday to Enka in a non-conference volleyball match at Polk.

The Jets (10-4) picked up a 25-17, 25-23, 21-25, 25-8 victory, dropping Polk County to 6-7 overall.

Morgan Yoder had seven kills for Polk County, with Ada Kelley, Sophia Overholt and Mia Bradley each adding six kills. Overholt also had 13 digs, with Elena Carroll recording nine digs and Ella Waldman adding seven digs.

Amberlyn Scruggs had 14 assists and Zaelea Eller had 13 assists and five digs for the Wolverines, who travel Tuesday to Hendersonville before journeying to Patton on Wednesday and R-S Central on Thursday.
