
Polk County freshman Morgan Yoder has been named to the 2021 Mountain Foothills 7 All-Conference volleyball squad.
Yoder, a middle hitter, amassed 207 kills and 101 blocks this season for the Wolverines, who reached the second round of the state 2A playoffs before falling to West Stanly in five sets.
Yoder also had 80 digs and 17 serving aces. She had double-figure kills in six of Polk County’s final eight matches.
Patton’s Kenady Roper, a Tennessee commitment, was named the conference player of the year, with Brevard’s Abby Pace named the league’s top defensive player. Brevard’s Cori Bryson was named the conference’s coach of the year.
