Polk County softball concludes 21-4 season with annual awards night

In the wake of a successful 21-4 season, Polk County handed out a number of awards at its postseason softball banquet on Monday.

The Wolverines reached the third round of the state 2A playoffs before dropping a 4-2 loss to Franklin in eight innings.

The following varsity and junior varsity players received awards at the banquet, held in the Polk County High School cafeteria:
