Addison Bartlett fired a one-hitter Wednesday as Owen handed Polk County an 11-0 defeat in a Western Highlands Conference softball matchup in Swannanoa.
Emily Prince had the lone hit in the five-inning game for the Wolverines, who dropped to 1-3 overall, 0-2 in conference play.
Owen scored in each of its four at-bats, including a five-run third inning.
The Wolverines are set to return to action on Monday, traveling to Avery for a game set to start at 4 p.m.
