NCHSAA to release soccer, baseball, softball brackets on Monday

The North Carolina High School Athletic Association announced Saturday that playoff brackets for spring sports will be released on Monday morning.

With several state championships being held Saturday and NCHSAA personnel involved in those, the association decided to push the release of girls soccer, baseball and softball brackets back to Monday instead of Sunday as first planned.

Polk County is assured of girls soccer and softball berths and should host their first-round matchups. The Wolverine baseball squad is hoping to get a wild-card berth into the state 2A playoffs.
