Polk County’s Mark Mazzilli earned selection to the Times-News All-Area baseball squad, the only Wolverine chosen for the team.
Mazzilli, who signed with Brevard College to play baseball next season, hit .403 for Polk County in helping lead the Wolverines to a playoff berth. He was an all-Western Highlands Conference selection and anchored the Polk County defense in center field.
