Freshman Morgan Plemmons threw a three-hitter Wednesday to lead Madison to an 11-0 win over Polk County in softball action at Polk.
The Patriots (19-1, 14-0) continued their match to a perfect Western Highlands Conference record with the five-inning win. Polk dropped to 8-6, 7-3 with the loss.
The Wolverines continue conference play on Thursday, traveling to Owen for a 5 p.m. matchup.
