Led by its two seniors, Polk County placed four players on the 2019 All-Western Highlands Conference softball squad.
Senior outfielder Ansley Lynch and senior infielder Morgan Stott led the All-WHC picks, with junior infielder Anna McFadden and sophomore infielder Alana Jergenson also named to the squad.
Madison’s Ashley Hamlin was named the league’s player of the year, with teammate Savannah Rice named the pitcher of the year and coach Andy Gregg earning coach of the year honors.
