Wolverine seniors, team standouts honored at softball banquet

Polk County’s softball program honored its departing seniors and outstanding players during the end-of-season banquet in the school cafeteria.

Seniors Ansley Lynch and Morgan Stott received a gift of a team photo signed by all teammates, with the entire team signing a similar gift for head coach Jamie Thompson.

Lynch was also named the team’s most valuable player, with Stott receiving the coaches award.
