Wolverines remain at No. 11 in state 2A girls soccer poll

Polk County remained at No. 11 in this week’s North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association state 2A poll.

The Wolverines, 13-3, are one of three Western Highlands Conference teams in the poll, with Owen currently ranked seventh and Hendersonville in 10th. The Wolverines dropped a 2-0 decision to Hendersonville earlier this season and will face Owen for the first time on April 23.

West Stokes (15-1) is the top team in the 2A poll, followed by Lake Norman Charter, First Flight, Carrboro and Forbush.
