Polk County’s Gabby Savaia has been named the Western Highlands Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Lennox Charles the league’s Coach of the Year, with seven Wolverines in total earning all-conference honors.
Polk’s Cate Brown, Jill Brown, Reeve Carroll, Charley Dusenbury, Gabby Savaia, Kenley Savaia and Leah Savaia each earned All-WHC selection as the Wolverines finished 16-3-4 and won the WHC regular-season title.
Gabby Savaia helped lead the Wolverines to the state 3A quarterfinals, scoring 21 goals and setting a school single-season record with 26 assists. She scored two goals in each of Polk County’s playoff games.

Charles earned the 11th girls soccer conference championship of his career and Polk’s first since 2014. The veteran head coach completed his 25th season leading the Wolverine girls program and has amassed a 335-161-34 record as Polk’s head coach.
Owen’s Charlotte Pauley was named the conference’s Goalkeeper of the Year while Mountain Heritage’s Kai’ana Stella was named the league’s top defender.
