Four Polk County soccer players earned postseason recognition from the North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association, with Reeve Carroll and Gabby Savaia earning all-state honors and all four Wolverines landing on the Far West 1A/2A/3A All-Region Team.
Carroll, a sophomore midfielder, and Savaia, a senior forward, were named to the NCSCA 3A All-State team, two of 22 players selected statewide.
Carroll, Savaia, senior midfielder Charley Dusenbury and freshman defender Leah Savaia were all named to the Far West All-Region 1A/2A/3A team.

The quartet helped lead the Wolverines to a 16-3-4 record, their first conference title since 2014 and the state 3A quarterfinals.
