McEntire, Firby lead Polk County to rout of Madison

Kayla McEntire and Samantha Firby each scored two goals Wednesday to lead Polk County to a 5-0 win over Madison in Western Highlands Conference play at Madison.

Megan Clements also scored as the Wolverines (2-2, 1-0) opened league play on a winning note.

Lyric Flood had three assists for Polk County, with Ellese Cash, Cassidy Campbell and Ally Picone adding assists.

Kara Overholt had three saves for the Wolverines, who return to action on Saturday at Burns.
