Lee, Love lead Polk County past West Henderson

Caroline Lee scored two goals Thursday to lead sixth-ranked Polk County to a 3-1 win over West Henderson in a non-conference soccer match in Wolverine Stadium.

Ashley Love added a goal and assisted both of Lee’s goals as the Wolverines improved to 8-2. Elena Preston added an assist on Love’s goal.

Kara Overholt had five saves.

West Henderson took a 5-0 win in junior varsity play, with Malena Roman making 11 saves in the loss.
