
Six different players scored goals Thursday to lead Polk County to a 6-1 boys soccer win at Mitchell.
With their third straight win, the Wolverines improved to 4-3 overall, 2-0 in Western Highlands Conference play.
Ethan Edwards, Garrett Weicker, Nate Smart, Wil Rimer, Brad Blackwell and Salvador Chavez all scored goals in the first half for Polk County, with Smart, Blackwell and Jeremy Allsbrook adding assists as the Wolverines took a 6-0 advantage at halftime.
Mitchell dropped to 1-4, 0-3 with the loss.
Wilson Edwards had three saves for Polk, who hosts Owen on Monday at 7 p.m. in a game to be played at Polk County Middle School.
