Polk strikes early and often in rout of Mitchell

1 min read

It took Polk County some 15 seconds Monday to score the first goal of its conference clash with Mitchell.

Five minutes into the match, the Wolverines owned a 4-0 lead and it was apparent that the only drama on a sunny evening at Polk County Middle School would be the size of the final margin.

That gap proved to be eight, Polk County rolling to a 10-2 win over the Mountaineers in a Western Highlands Conference meeting.
