
Noel Rivera-Villa scored four goals Wednesday to lead Franklin to a 5-0 victory over Polk County in non-conference boys soccer action in Franklin.
The Panthers improved to 4-2 on the strength of Rivera-Villa’s efforts. Polk County dropped to 0-5.
Franklin’s junior varsity got a second-half goal, that on a penalty kick in the final minute, to hand the Polk JVs a 1-0 setback. The win improved the Panthers’ record to 1-1 while the Wolverines dropped to 0-3-1.
Polk County is now off until Sept. 8, when the Wolverines travel to North Henderson for another non-conference matchup.
