East Rutherford snapped Polk County’s two-match winning streak, handing the Wolverines a 2-0 loss Monday in Mountain Foothills 7 Conference boys soccer action in Bostic.
The loss dropped Polk County to 4-14 overall, 4-7 in conference play. East Rutherford ends its season at 5-14, 2-10.
Wolverine goalkeeper Cade Bright had 15 saves in the match. Polk was limited to three shots on goal in the match.
Polk County concludes its regular season on Wednesday, traveling to Brevard.
