
Hibriten grabbed a 5-0 halftime lead Thursday and went on to post a 9-0 victory over Polk County in a non-conference boys soccer match in G.M. Tennant Stadium.
The Panthers’ Kevin Rios scored three goals and had three assists as Hibriten, considered one of the state’s top 3A teams, improved to 8-0.
Polk County dropped to 1-6-1 with the loss.
The Wolverines are set to be in action again on Monday, hosting Chase in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match.
