Polk County rallied from a 15-point halftime deficit Wednesday, storming back to top Brevard 57-54 in a non-conference game at Brevard.
The Wolverines closed their regular season with a 7-17 record and will begin postseason play next week in the Western Highlands Conference tournament. Times and pairings will be announced Thursday.
Polk County trailed by as much as 18 points in the first half, but steadily chipped away and finally took a lead midway through the fourth quarter.

Jamal Wheeler had 19 points to lead Polk County, with Davis Derkach scoring 10 and Arnie Twitty and Holden Owens each scoring nine.
