Polk County will have to wait a bit longer for its return to action after the holiday break as Friday’s games at Mitchell have been postponed.
The Wolverines will now travel to face the Mountaineers on Thursday, Jan. 9. Polk County;s next game will now be Tuesday, when the Wolverines host Avery.
Polk County’s girls and boys squads haven’t played since the Dec. 19 home dates with Mountain Heritage.
