Polk County boys fall in defensive tussle at T.C. Roberson

T.C. Roberson built a seven-point halftime lead, then held off Polk County down the stretch Tuesday to earn a 49-45 win in non-conference basketball action in Skyland.

Jamal Wheeler scored 20 points to lead the Wolverines (0-7), who also got eight points from Wes Mullis.

T.C. Roberson’s point total represents the fewest points allowed by the Wolverines this season.

Polk County returns home Wednesday to host East Henderson in another non-conference game.
