Polk County’s boys and girls basketball teams will host Hendersonville on Tuesday in the opening round of the Western Highlands Conference tournaments.
First-round games in the tourney are being played at higher-seeded teams, with the semifinals and finals to be played at Mountain Heritage.
Tuesday’s games are set to begin at 6 p.m. Both Polk County teams enter the tournament as the No. 3 seed, with both Hendersonville teams seeded sixth.

With a win, the Polk boys would face the winner of the No. 2 Mountain Heritage-No. 7 Owen game. The Polk girls, with a win, would face either No. 2 Madison or No. 7 Mitchell.
