Pending inclement weather forces postponement of PCHS home basketball opener
With wintry weather in the forecast for much of this week, especially for the area in and around Asheville, Tuesday’s basketball games between Asheville High and Polk County High have been postponed.
The games would have been the home openers for Polk County’s basketball squads.

The Wolverines are still scheduled to open their seasons tonight at East Henderson, but times have been changed. The varsity girls will play at 5 and the varsity boys will play at 6:30 in East Henderson’s new gym. The Polk junior varsity teams will play at 4 and 5:30 p.m. in East Henderson’s old gym.
No makeup date for the Asheville games has been set of yet.
