West Henderson pulled away in the fourth quarter Friday to take a 64-55 win over Polk County in non-conference boys basketball action at Polk County.
The Wolverines (5-13) scored the game’s first seven points and held a 35-27 halftime edge before the Falcons began to rally. West Henderson outscored Polk 24-11 in the final period, with Sam Polovina, who scored 26 points, leading the charge.
Jamal Wheeler scored 20 points to lead Polk County, which returns to action on Tuesday, traveling to Mitchell for a Western Highlands Conference matchup.
