East Henderson pulls away in final quarter to down Wolverines

East Henderson limited Polk County to three points in the fourth quarter, helping the Eagles secure a 47-34 win Wednesday night in non-conference boys basketball play in Flat Rock.

The Eagles (11-9) outscored the Wolverines (5-15) in the final quarter to complete a sweep of the season series between the two schools.

“We played neck and neck with them until the fourth and we got tired,” said Polk County head coach Josh McEntire. “The trip the night before to Mitchell and getting in late took a lot out of us.”
