Polk County finished second with a team score of 165 at Tuesday’s non-conference golf match at Meadowbrook Golf Course.
Chase won the nine-hole match with 160, followed by Polk County at 165, Thomas Jefferson Classical at 167 and R-S Central at 169.
Noah Wright of R-S Central shot 36 to claim medalist honors on the par-36 course. Brody Wilkins led Polk County with a round of 37 to finish second, one stroke behind Wright.

Jace McDonald of Thomas Jefferson, Canaan Houser of Chase and Dalen Hampton of Chase each shot 39 to tie for third.
Tallis Metcalf carded 40 for Polk County, Piercen Edwards shot 41, and Aiden Billings finished with 47.
The match was a late addition to Polk County’s schedule.
