Warren’s 73 leads Mitchell past Polk County at Bright’s Creek

Connor Warren’s outstanding 73 paced the field Wednesday and led Mitchell to a victory over Polk County in boys golf action at Bright’s Creek.

Warren’s 1-over-par effort helped Mitchell record a team score of 338, topping the 369 recorded by the Wolverines.

Avery Harden led Polk withy a score of 80, with Casey Beiler following with an 85 and Reilly Yoder posting a 90. Myles Menetre added a 114.

Jaden Chupp notched a 129 and Daniel Savkovic had a 139 for Polk County.

Polk County is slated to return to action on Monday, traveling to Connestee Falls for a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match.
