Polk Middle golfers debut with victory in tri-match

Polk County Middle opened its 2023 golf season on Tuesday with a win in a tri-match at Meadowbrook Golf Club.

The Wolverines finished with a team score of 206, besting Brevard Middle’s 211 and Flat Rock’s 215.

“It was a great team effort to start to our season,” said Polk Middle head coach Kenny Hall.

Competing Tuesday for the Wolverines were Brody Wilkins, Addie Buss, David Duffy and Jaxon Blotner.

Polk Middle is slated to return next Tuesday to Meadowbrook to face Rugby Middle, Hendersonville Middle and Apple Valley Middle.
