Polk golfers conclude regular season at Meadowbrook

Polk County’s boys golf team concluded its regular season on Thursday, competing with players from Brevard in a match at Meadowbrook Golf Course.

The Wolverines fired a team total of 341. Brevard did not field a full team.

Evan Jones led Polk County with an 80, with Avery Harden shooting an 84. Carson Emory followed with an 88 and Reilly Yoder added an 89 for the Wolverines.

Polk County begins play Monday in the Western Highlands Conference tournament. The two-day event will begin at Grassy Creek Golf and Country Club before concluding at Meadowbrook on Tuesday.
