Christ School knocks off Polk junior varsity, 5-2

Christ School took a 5-2 win over Polk County on Wednesday in junior varsity action at Polk County.

The Wolverines scored their two runs in separate innings, the first coming in the third inning on Bailey Livesay’s RBI double. Polk County then scored again in the sixth as Jared Wolfe singled, moved to second on a sacrifice and then scored on Zach Foy’s base hit.

Polk County is back in action on Friday, hosting Mitchell in a game slated to start at 4 p.m.
