“We didn’t wrestle our best, but we made some improvements in spots since we faced them last,” Polk Middle head coach Jerry Cox said.

The Wolverines will now turn their attention to hosting the Blue Ridge Conference Individual Tournament on Friday at Polk County High School.

“We’re looking forward to hosting the tournament and seeing how well we can do in it,” Cox said. “I feel like we have a lot of kids that can go in and score some quality points for the team, and that’ll hopefully put us in a spot to win it in the end.”
