Polk County’s wrestling team won all three of its matches Wednesday in a quad match at Lincolnton High School, improving to 17-1 in dual matches this season.
The Wolverines defeated Fred T. Foard 38-29, Lincolnton 39-29 and East Burke 71-5.
Zalen McCraw (175) went 3-0 on the day with two pins and one major decision. Isaiah Staley (215) also finished 3-0 with two pins and one decision, while Jayden Pons (120) posted a 3-0 record with one pin and two technical falls.

Liam Jackson (126) went 3-0 with one pin and two technical falls, Amon Villarreal (132) finished 3-0 with three technical falls, and Brody Wolfe (157) was 3-0 with one pin and two decisions.
Polk County returns to action Saturday, journeying to South Carolina to take part in the Ugly Sweater Duals at Travelers Rest High School.
