Polk County’s three-night conference road trip began on a sour note Tuesday as Hendersonville swept the Wolverines in a Mountain Foothills 7 matchup in Hendersonville.
The Bearcats posted a 25-17, 25-19, 25-17 victory, dropping the Wolverines to 6-8 overall, 3-2 in MF7 play. Hendersonville improved to 5-5, 4-3.
Polk County travels to Patton on Wednesday and then R-S Central on Thursday.

Morgan Yoder had six kills for Polk County, with Mia BRadley recording five kills and three digs. Ada Kelley and Sophia Overholt each had three kills, with Overholt also posting five digs.
Ella Waldman had 12 digs, with Zaelea Eller notching 10 assists and Amberlyn Scruggs posting five assists.
