Wolverine JVs down Trojans, extend streak to seven

Polk County’s junior varsity continued its winning ways Thursday, sweeping Chase in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match in Forest City.

The Wolverines captured their seventh straight victory in a 25-19, 25-21 decision, improving to 12-4 overall, 8-1 in conference matches.

Sidney Carroll had four kills, four assists and six digs for Polk County, with Hayden Blackwell notching four kills, four aces, six assists and six digs. The Wolverines had 16 service aces in the win.

Lexi Beiler had three kills and four aces, with Jocelynn Rameriz recording five digs.

Polk County begins the final week of regular-season play on Monday, traveling to Tuscola for a non-conference clash.
