Wolverine JVs avenge early-season loss to Warhorses

Polk County avenged its only conference loss of the season on Saturday, sweeping Owen in a Western Highlands Conference junior varsity volleyball match at Polk.

The Wolverines earned a 25-11, 25-11 win, their seventh consecutive victory. Polk County is now 7-3 overall and 7-1 in conference matches.

Caroline Taylor had four kills and five digs for Polk, with Elysia Smith recording 10 assists and four digs. Lisa Jones and Elena Carroll each had five digs, with Carroll also delivering four aces.

Annslee Kilgore had three aces and three digs while Anna Morton had four digs and Anna Jackson had three digs and two kills.

The Wolverines close their season on Friday, traveling to R-S Central.
