Polk County’s junior varsity fought off four match points Monday and claimed a 2-1 victory over Enka in a non-conference match at Polk.
The Wolverines (7-4) claimed a 20-25, 25-16, 17-15 win. Enka had a 14-10 lead in the third set, but Polk County won five straight points to grab a 15-14 edge. The Jets evened the match at 15 before Polk win the final two points, the last on a Hayden Blackwell kill, to take the win.
Blackwell and Elena Carroll each had seven kills, with Blackwell also recording 14 assists and seven digs and Carroll posting 10 digs and five aces.

Kylie Lewis had six kills, seven assists and 13 digs, with Lexi Beiler posting four kills and four digs.
Jocelynn Ramirez had 12 digs for the Wolverines, who travel Tuesday to Hendersonville.
