Polk JVs fall at West Henderson

Polk County’s junior varsity volleyball team stayed close in the second set Wednesday before West Henderson completed a 25-15, 25-23 sweep in Mills River.

Alia Vorbe led Polk County with seven kills and added nine digs. Lily Holt paced the Wolverines defensively with 18 digs, while Camdyn Israel-Garrett added 12 digs and three assists.

Emily Dotson served two aces for Polk.

The loss dropped the Wolverines to 3-5. Polk County travels to Mountain Heritage on Thursday.
