A quartet of Polk County Wolverines earned spots on the 2013 All-Western Highlands Conference team.
Senior Rebecca Mitchell, juniors Kara Overholt and Sarah Phipps and sophomore Lilly Owens were named to the all-conference squad after a season in which the Wolverines finished 15-9 and advanced to the second round of the state 2A playoffs. Overholt and Phipps earned all-conference honors for the second straight season.
Hendersonville, which captured the state 2A championship, swept individual honors with head coach Erica Cantrell named coach of the year and senior Caylie Shew named conference player of the year.
