Polk answered with a run in the third on Mia Bradley’s RBI single, then picked up two more runs in the fourth. Katelyn Arrowood reached on an error and Junie Mitchell singled, and a Patton error later in the inning led to both runners scoring.

The Wolverines added another run in the fifth on a Chloe Young homer.

At the plate: Young finished 3-for-4, with Bradley and Mitchell adding base hits.

Next up: Polk County will host East Henderson on Monday for a 4 p.m. matchup.
