Polk County placed six players on the 2A All-District Eight softball team as chosen by the North Carolina Softball Coaches Association.
The 29-player team is led by the 2A player of the year, Michaela Drewnoski of Madison, and the 2A pitcher of the year, Savannah Davis of state champion East Rutherford.

The NCSCA will announce its all-state teams on June 30.
