The Polk County Youth Football Mitey Mites remained undefeated Saturday with a 20-8 road win over the Rutherfordton Raiders.
The Mitey Mites, now 4-0, had not been scored upon through the first three games until Rutherfordton snapped that streak.
The news wasn’t as good for the remainder of the PCYF program. Rutherfordton won the day’s other three games, taking the Tiney Mites clash 30-0, the Jr. Peewee game 19-0 and the Peewee matchup 14-6. For the Tiney Mites and Peewees, the losses were their first of the season.
