Polk County’s junior varsity girls finally had an opponent to play Tuesday, but the Wolverines dropped a 44-18 decision to East Henderson at Flat Rock.
It marked the first game of the season for the Wolverines, as no opponent to date had a JV girls team.
Emily Prince scored 14 points to lead Polk County, with DeAsia Green adding four.

The Polk JVs are slated to be in action again on January 3, hosting Avery.
