Stott takes third in conference golf match at Meadowbrook

Polk County junior Morgan Stott is the only Wolverine playing golf this fall. But that isn’t stopping Stott from making her presence felt.

Stott finished third Tuesday in a Western Highlands Conference match at Meadowbrook Golf Course. Her 58 left her just four strokes behind Avery’s Ellie Pittman, medalist for the day, and a shot behind Avery’s Addison Rudicile.

Stott will continue her one-girl schedule on Monday, traveling to Spruce Pine for a match at Grassy Creek Golf and Country Club.
