Polk County reschedules football scrimmage for Friday

Polk County has rescheduled its preseason football scrimmage at East Henderson until Friday at 6 p.m.

With inclement winter weather expected in the area on Thursday, both programs decided to delay the scrimmage by a day.

No fans will be allowed to attend the scrimmage. East Henderson is part of the NFHS Network and will broadcast the scrimmage there.

Polk County opens its delayed 2020 regular season on Feb. 26 at Hendersonville.
